On this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show: Expert Q & A, Philip Strunc from GTA Restoration shares steps to restore your home from fire damage.
Q: What should a property owner do to recover from fire damage to their home or business?
Philip Strunc: Recovery from a fire is a big process. You want to make sure that you take the proper steps to in order to get this remediated correctly. Fire damages a property via soot, smoke damage, poor air quality and water damage. Water damage from fire fighting efforts is devastating and extends to all of the areas of your home. This is very important because with water damage there is a very real threat of mold within 12-48 hours, which is why water damage remediation is required after fire fighting services have been completed.
