What’s better than cake? How about a miniature cake to-go, courtesy of Goodies Bake Shop. In this segment of the show, chefs Linda Peters and Lesli-Ann Legaspi show us how to make Black Forest and Lemon Raspberry Cake In A Jar.

 

Black Forest Cake In A Jar

What you’ll need: jars, chocolate cake scraps, cherry mousse, whipped cream, cherries, treats of your choosing (for garnish)

  • Using chocolate cake scraps, stuff your jar with a few inches of cake. 
  • Next, apply a layer of cherry mousse.
  • Repeat Steps 1 and 2 so that you have two layers of each: cake and mousse.
  • Top your Cake In A Jar with a layer of whipped cream.
  • Garnish your creation with cherries and treats of your choosing. 

 

Lemon Raspberry Cake In A Jar

What you’ll need: jars, white truffle cake scraps, lemon raspberry mousse, whipped cream, raspberries, treats of your choosing (for garnish)

  • Using white truffle cake scraps, stuff your jar with a few inches of cake. 
  • Next, apply a layer of lemon raspberry mousse.
  • Repeat Steps 1 and 2 so that you have two layers of each: cake and mousse.
  • Top your Cake In A Jar with a layer of whipped cream. 
  • Garnish your creation with raspberries and treats of your choosing.
