Q: What ideas do you have for improving my backyard?
Paul Lafrance: One easy DIY project that can spruce up your outdoor space is to incorporate outdoor, low voltage lighting. It is unbelievable the change it can make to the backyard space when you now have an entirely different emotional response when it’s lit up at night. Absolutely crucial: you do not need an electrician, you are simply plugging a transformer into the wall, and with simple quick connect lighting systems, in a weekend, you have a completely transformed backyard space.
