Make it personal 

Ask yourself questions like: what kind of lifestyle does dad lead? What are dad’s interests and hobbies? What items do they use that could use replacing or upgrading?

Get techy with it

These days, there’s no better gift than technology, if you have the budget for it. Does dad work from home? Get him a pair of blue light glasses or an ergonomic chair. Is he a gym buff? Get him a pair of sweat-resistant wireless earbuds.

Plan an activity 

If you can’t think of a physical item that dad might appreciate, you can’t go wrong with a fun activity that you and dad can do together. You can even make a plan that includes the whole family. For instance, plan a hike, a lunch, rock climbing, scavenger hunt, or a family picnic in honor of dad.
