Q: Why is it important to have a home inspection before purchasing a property?
A home inspection allows you to get to know the bones of the home: if there are any issues with the home and whether or not you have the time, money, and energy to properly deal with those issues. A home inspection allows the buyer to know what they’re getting into, it gives them a heads up of the condition of the home at the time of inspection, and allows them a little bit more information when they’re buying the home. It can determine whether or not the home is right for them and if they are able to deal with the issues at hand.
Q: How can a home inspection affect a homebuyers budgeting?
When you get an inspection, you have the ability to look at the possible issues of the house. The home could need a renovation or more simple maintenance repairs. With a home inspection, they will check things like the furnace and whether it needs replacing, the state of the water heaters, and whether the shingles on the roof are getting older and need to be replaced.
