Bam Bam Shrimp and Steak Recipe
Today, we’re excited kick off today’s special holiday episode with a tasty tutorial. On this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Chef Rob Thomas shares a delicious Bam Bam shrimp and steak recipe.
What you’ll need: truLOCAL steak, truLOCAL shrimp, buttermilk, oil, rice flour, corn starch, mayonnaise, sweet chilli sauce, tabasco sauce
The recipe:
- Start off with your shrimp. The best way to prepare it is by coating it in buttermilk
- The next step is to put your shrimp in a mixture of rice flour and cornstarch. Give it a good mix.
- Next, give your shrimp a little bit of a spray with oil, and then you can head over to your Instapot and use the airfryer attachment
- Fry your shrimp for four minutes on one side and then flip it over for about another minute on the other side.
- Once your shrimp is golden, it’s ready for sauce.
- To create your sauce, take a little bit of sweet chilli, mix it with a little bit of mayonnaise, and then grab some tabasco sauce. (Chef Rob is using the mild jalapeno tabasco above.) Give your sauce a good mix [Music]
- Now that your sauce is ready, you’re ready to dress your shrimp. Place some sauce on top of every shrimp.
