Bourbon Ginger Pear Cocktail
A fun way to wow your dinner guest is to have a beautiful cocktail recipe on hand. In this segment of The Marc and Mandy Show, Chef Rob Thomas shows Mandy how to make a bourbon ginger pear cocktail.
What you’ll need: ice, 1.5 oz bourbon, pear juice, lemon juice, ginger honey simple syrup, ginger ale, pear slices
The recipe:
- Start with an ounce of bourbon. If you prefer your drinks strong, start with 1.5 ounces of bourbon. Add your bourbon into a glass or mason jar, followed by pear juice, and lemon juice.
- Next, add some ginger honey simple syrup. To make the ginger honey simple syrup yourself, grate or slice 1.5 inches of fresh ginger, 3/4 cup of water, and a 1/2 cup of honey. Boil these three ingredients down until it melts together. Then, let the mixture cool.
- Once you have your bourbon, pear juice, lemon juice, and ginger honey simple syrup in a glass or jar, add some ice, garnish with a few slices of pear, serve, and enjoy!
