Chef Rob’s Chipotle Lime Salmon Recipe
If you’re looking for a way to spice up your salmon for dinner, this is the recipe for you! In this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Personal Chef Rob Thomas demonstrates how to make a delicious chipotle lime salmon. Keep reading for the step-by-step instructions.
What you’ll need: 2 tbsp oil, 1 lime (juice and zest), 1 chipotle chilli (in adobo), adobo sauce, 1 garlic clove (minced), salt and pepper (to taste), 2 lb salmon filet
Step 1: Prep Your Lime
The first thing you want to do is zest your lime using a zester or a cheese grater. While zesting, ensure you are rotating the lime. Once your lime is zested, you can slice it in half and juice it.
Step 2: Create The Sauce
Next, add chipotle chilli to taste, garlic, and oil in with your lime juice. You can use olive oil, grape seed oil, or anything else you usually cook with. Mix all of these ingredients up in a food processor.
Step 3: Season The Salmon
At this stage, you can prep a baking sheet and place your salmon filet on it. Slowly pour the contents of your food processor onto the filet.
Step 4: Bake
Place the salmon in the oven at 400 degrees for 15 – 20 minutes. Plate, garnish with mango and cilantro, and enjoy!
