Eggspectational Omelette
On this special episode of The Marc and Mandy Show: Cooking on the Road, Lifestyle Correspondent Mariko Zamani visits Chef Arun Shaiu at Eggspectation to taste their tasty omelette. Keep reading to find out how to recreate the Eggspectational Omelette.
What you’ll need: eggs, bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, ham, bacon, sausage, canola oil, butter, cheddar cheese grilled potato and fresh fruit (for serving)
Step 1: Crack
First things first, get crackin’. Crack one to two eggs into a mixing bowl and whisk with a whisk or fork.
Step 2: Add-ins
Next, add in the sliced and diced bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, ham, bacon, and sausage. Using your whisk or fork, mix those in with the eggs.
Step 3: Cook
Now, add oil to your cooktop and begin to cook your omelette, using your fork to spread the omelette evenly. Wait for one minute and then flip it.
Step 4: Cheese
Next, place two slices of cheddar cheese on top of your omelette. At this stage, you can also distribute a thin layer of butter all around the sides of the omelette. Wait for one minute to let the cheese melt.
Step 5: Plate
Finally, trim the sides of your omelette, add the sides to the middle of the omelette, and then fold the omelette over the cheese. You know have an omelette that’s ready for serving, alongside grilled potatoes and fresh fruit.

Eggs are so nutritious. Too bad he uses processed cheese and industrial seed oil (aka canola oil) in the recipe!
Eggs are the real super food!
Love em. They’re spegg tacular
looks good but I could lose the bell peppers and would prefer real cheese
