Environmental Carpet Solution
For anyone suffering with allergies to dust and dander, carpets can quickly become a breeding ground for those pesky allergens. Fortunately, there are hypoallergenic solutions out there! In this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Marc talks with Harvey Lohnes from A&R Carpet Barn about environmental carpet solutions for your home.
Mohawk Air.o Hypoallergenic Soft Back Flooring
The Mohawk Air.o Hypoallergenic Soft Back Flooring is an outlier for a few reasons. Firstly, it’s made out of recycled water bottles and pop bottles. It is also stain resistant, hypoallergenic, and won’t absorb moisture. To boot, this product can be recycled should you decide it’s no longer right for your home. Simply call the 1-800 number on the back of the product, cut the product up into smaller pieces, place it in bags provided by Mohawk, and the product will be picked up and recycled into more carpeting. i just don’t see people cutting up carpet and returning it
Sounds like awesome carpet I have to buy for my home.
Great product to keep plastic out of landfill.
Wish I had seen this before I purchased new carpet recently. Would have to verify though what they mean by hypoallergenic since chemical off gassing is a serious issue for me. Sustainability is impressive.
Sustainable solutions are always great to learn about!
sustainable solutions are the best options
I like that its environmentally friendly. Wonder if they make them with different texture (I dislike the fuzzy, long weave).
