Straps = security
Though strapless styles of swimming suits may look great when you’re trying them on in the store, you might not feel so excited about them once you get to the beach. Particularly if you’re busty, straps can equate to comfort and security. TIP Straps on each shoulder, instead of ones that tie around the neck, can also help to increase comfortability if you have a big bust.
Consider your bikini line
On the topic of comfort, make sure you pay attention to how swim suits cut on areas that tend to become irritated easily, such as the bikini line. For the sake of comfort, avoid anything with a really rigid edge.
Opt for underwire
No matter your bra size, you can’t go wrong with a top with underwire. If you’re busty, underwire provides critical support. If you have a small bust, underwire can give you a little bit of a boost. Underwire tops also tend to look a little more expensive compared to tops without underwire.
Try different sized separates
Very few people are the same swimsuit size for top and bottom. If you happen to be one of many who struggle to find same-size separates that fit, you might want to try retailers that sell tops and bottoms separately.
