Frittata Recipe
Breakfast is the most important meals of the day. It’s also one of the tastiest, so we don’t blame you if you want to make this foolproof recipe for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! On this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Chef and Culinary Expert Noel Cunningham shows Marc how to make a Frittata.
What you’ll need: canola oil, potatoes, onions, bell peppers, spinach, eggs, milk, salt, bell pepper, cheese, tomatoes
The recipe:
- Add oil to a hot frying pan.
- Once the oil is hot, add diced potatoes and onions. The potatoes and onions should sizzle as they hit the pan. TIP Have a hankering for sausage? Feel free to add whatever type of sausage, bacon, or veggies you have laying around.
- Next add chopped bell peppers, followed by spinach. Use a heat-safe spoon or spatula to mix the contents of the pan around so that it cooks evenly.
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs and milk together. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add your egg mixture to the pan.
- Now, you can just leave your frittata on the stovetop to cook. TIP If you want it to cook faster, simply use your heat safe utensil to pull the egg from the sides of the pan to the middle. This will allow the egg to cook faster and more evenly.
- Sprinkle some cheese, tomato, or whatever garnish you have around over top.
- To keep the frittata warm after it’s been cooked, store it in the oven.
