Make a list
Compose a rolling grocery list on your phone or in physical form and jot down what you need throughout the week. When it comes time to grocery shop, you will have your list ready and you will just need to peruse flyers to find out what’s on sale to supplement your list.
Shop the flyer
Use weekly flyers to make your grocery list. You can also compare deals from store to store, and if you find a better deal at a store that you’re not planning to shop at, take the flyer with you and see if you can get a price-match. Flyers also tend to have coupons included, so make sure you pay attention to those.
Check your receipt
Always take some time to go over your receipt after you pay for your groceries. There’s always a chance of human error and oftentimes, those errors are fairly easy to spot if you take the time to look. If you don’t realize there’s been an error until you get home, find the customer service contact number for the store online and get in touch with them.
