Designate a workspace
While it can be tempting to work from your couch or bed, our brains associate these places with resting and entertainment. As such, it can become difficult to focus and be productive. Instead, designate a quiet area of your house to use as a workspace. And stay away from your workspace when you’re not working.
Take frequent breaks
Just like you should if you’re working out of an office, take a break every hour or so and use that time to walk around, stretch, and maybe even get a healthy snack. Doing this will help you to reset and stay healthy through long work days.
Set a schedule and stick to it
One hazard of working from home is that it can be tough stay motivated throughout the day. To help keep you on track, write out a schedule and to do list at the start of each day.
