Home Tour with Designer Glen Peloso
In the spirit of interior design inspo, celebrity designer Glen Peloso takes us on a tour of his personal home. Unique Artwork
Though Glen’s space is already chock-full of personality, his space is infused with even more vibrancy via colorful artwork – gifted to him by a painter friend. Artwork is an intelligent use of your wall space because it can be interchanged should you decide to redecorate down the road.
Pot Lights
Recessed lighting, such as pot lights, can do wonders for any space. If you’re looking for way to showcase particular architectural features within your home, LED spotlights provide a bright and direct spotlight.
Repurposed Furniture
In his home tour, Glen points out a pair of statement-making chairs, and reveals that he actually retrieved them from the trash. He then refurnished them using a funky print. According to Glen, some people hate them and some people love them, but he loves them.
Open Concept Kitchen
Glen’s original kitchen was enclosed, prior to the renovation. He decided to break down one of the walls, creating a breakfast bar in place of the wall.
Kitchen Island
The kitchen island here was also an addition to the house. It’s outfitted with cabinetry so that there’s ample storage in the kitchen.
Double Dishwasher
As far as dishwashers go, the model in Glen’s kitchen is intelligently designed. It comes with two levels, which can be run separately. It takes up roughly the same amount of space as a traditional dishwasher.
