What you’ll need: 4 chicken breasts, salt, pepper, 1 tbsp oil, 1 tbsp ginger (grated), 1 lemon (juice & zest), 2 tbsp honey, 1/4 cup chicken stock
Step 1: Prep Your Pan
Start off by adding oil to a hot pan. While your pan is heating up, you can sprinkle some salt and pepper onto your chicken breasts. Once your pan is nice and hot, add your chicken breast to the pan.
Step 2: Zest Your Chicken
As your chicken is cooking, you can begin to zest your lemon right over top of the pan. Flip your chicken breast over to cook the other side, and then add ginger and garlic to the pan.
Step 3: Deglaze
Next, you can deglaze your pan by pouring chicken stock into the pan. Let the stock reduce down.
Step 4: Juice Your Lemon
Now, you can juice your lemon right over top of your pan. You can then add honey to the pan.TIP If your lemon has a lot of seeds, you can juice it over a strainer.
Step 5: Plate, Serve, and Enjoy
Once the chicken is cooked through, plate, serve, and enjoy!
