Incinerating Toilet Install
If you’re looking for an alternative waste system for your cottage or off-grid property, we’ve got a solution for you on this segment of the show. In this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show: On Trend, Watch the process of setting up a Cinderella restoration toilet install with Laura Kegel.
Laura Kegel: Hey Marc and Mandy. We’re on Gull River today and we’re going to be doing a Cinderella incineration toilet install. Come with me and we’re going to show you the process. This family of four purchased this cottage early summer as a place to relax and renew during this pandemic and a place to operate their business remotely in addition to their home. It was a three season cottage with an indoor toilet for urine only and the outhouse for everything else. They investigated other waste management solutions including septic and holding tanks. The challenge was getting equipment into the property and potentially needing to dig by hand. They decided that the Cinderella incineration toilet was the perfect fit for them because we have propane and electric models, it is completely waterless and requires no land excavation, it is environmentally friendly, and it is installed in less than half a day. This is a solution that fits all whether you’re at your home or at your off-grid cottage. The install team quickly gets to work taking out old piping and removing that old toilet. The cabin’s prepped and ready for the new system, but half the battle’s getting it uphill from the dock, hauling it indoors, and then gently placing it in the throne room. When it’s finally wired and connected it will provide the family with a high quality reliable waste solution for years to come. The Cinderella incineration toilet requires no water. Instead the waste is burned at a high temperature leaving only ashes. In one week with four people regularly using it their waste amounts to only about one cup of ash, which also makes an excellent fertilizer. It’s truly an amazing system. Clean, hygienic, odourless, and very environmentally friendly.
