What is condo board approval and why do you need it?
For this condo, and any other condo renovation project, the plans had to first be approved by the condo board. With all condos, there’s always a condo corporation involved. You will have to go through an approval process where you submit applications to the board, prior to starting any renovation.
What changes were made to this space?
Some major, structural changes were made to this space, including the removal of all the walls. In the assessment and approval process, it was realized that the ceiling height could be raised to nine feet. To highlight the high ceilings, crown molding was added around the space as well.
