Mad Chemist Cocktail
If you’re in the mood for a cocktail, you’ve come to the right place! On this special *boozy* episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Adam Lardner shows Mandy how to make the Mad Chemist Cocktail.
What you’ll need: 1 oz gin (infused with butterfly pea blossoms), 1/2 oz simple syrup, 1 oz lime juice, lemon, ice, tonic water, lime
The recipe:
*Note: this drink is served in two separate glasses
- In one of your glasses, add 1 oz (one shots worth) of butterfly pea blossom infused gin.
- In a shaker, add 1/2 oz of simple syrup, followed by 1 oz lime juice and fresh lemon juice.
- Mix up the contents of shaker, making sure to use two hands for this part.
- Next, strain/pour the contents of your shaker into your second glass, followed by tonic water. Make sure to keep the ice out of your glass and pour the tonic water slowly.
- Garnish your gin cup with a lime, add some ice, and serve.
- Finally, to complete the drink, pour the tonic mixture into the gin mixture. Enjoy!
