Maintenance Free Grass Alternatives
Real grass can be more work than it’s worth; fortunately, artificial alternatives can look just as great as the real, deal for a fraction of the maintenance! In this segment of The Marc and Mandy Show, Bran Lakoseljac of Lazy Lawn shows us a great alternative to natural grass that is completely maintenance free.
What is Lazy Lawn?
Lazy Lawn is an awesome alternative to traditional grass. It’s completely maintenance free: you don’t have to worry about watering it, cutting it, or dealing with pesky weeds. This grass is also stain and damage proof. It’s the same technology that’s used on professional sports fields, and Lazy Lawn has brought it into the residential space.
What is Lazy Lawn made of?
Lazy Lawn is made of polypropylene and polyethylene.
What is the process for Lazy Lawn installation?
Lazy Lawn’s process is simple but a lot of hard work. First, the team at Lazy Lawn will dig out your existing grass to a depth of about three to four inches. Next, they add a high density weed barrier, so you never have to worry about weeds. Then, three to four inches of high performance bedding is layered over top of the weed barrier, which will allow the area to drain, while also being compacted. After the installation is complete and the glue is dry, viral fill is put into the grass, which will prevent mold, mildew, and odor.
How long does Lazy Lawn last?
Your Lazy Lawn installation should last between 15 and 20 years.
