So today, we’re talking about how you can stay safe and stay home without losing sight of ongoing real estate ventures during the pandemic. In this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, real estate expert Alexandra Cote from The Fox Team shares tips for navigating the real estate market during COVID-19.
Mandy: How can we stay home, stay safe, but still stay focussed on our real estate goals?
Alexandra Cote: Great question, Mandy. Thanks for reaching out! The real estate industry has been deemed an essential service, but we really are trying to recommend people stay home right now as much as possible. So, if you’re a buyer and you’re considering getting into the market, it’s still a really good time to reach out and find a local realtor in your market and set up a virtual meeting with them just to talk about the process, which will set you up for success when it’s a bit safer to go out there. And you can start doing online research right now, getting to know the market, what you like, what you don’t like, and that kind of thing. And it’s also a really good time to get your finances in order.
Mandy: If you’re wanting to sell your home, what would be some things to look at for that?
Alexandra Cote: First thing, again, would be to reach out to a local realtor and get them into your house virtually. Give them a house tour via your phone and get their opinion on things that you might need to do to get ready for the sale. It’s a really great time to declutter and focus on small repairs that you’ve just been ignoring for the last few years.
