What you’ll need: 1 cup of oatmeal (instant), 3/4 cup almond milk, maple syrup, 1/4 cup sliced almonds, 1/4 cup flaked coconut, 1/4 cup chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, mason jar
Step 1: Soak
Start off with your quick cooking/instant oats. Place them in a bowl and add in almond milk or a liquid of your choice. At this stage, your oats should be completely submerged in the almond milk or liquid of your choosing.
Step 2: Toppings
If you prefer your oatmeal to be frill-free, you can pop the soaking oats into a mason jar and leave it in the fridge overnight. If you like the idea of toppings, add toppings directly into the bowl of soaking oats. You can add in toppings such as maple syrup, sliced almonds, flaked coconuts, and chocolate chips. TIP You can use some of the toppings, such as sliced almonds, flaked coconuts, and chocolate chips, to garnish your oats later on.
Step 3: Refrigerate
Finally, you can transfer the contents of your bowl into a mason jar, garnish, and place it in the fridge over night.
