Parmesan Chicken Sliders
Is fuss-free cooking your favorite type of cooking? This episode of The Marc and Mandy Show is geared at those of you who can’t cook! Today on the show, Mandy shows Marc how to prepare delicious Parmesan chicken sliders, which require minimal cooking and make a fantastic appetizer!
What you’ll need: dinner rolls, marinara sauce, chicken strips, mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, butter, garlic powder, Italian seasonings
Details and instructions:
- Start off this recipe by slicing your dinner rolls in half using a large knife. TIP If your rolls are joined in a cluster, don’t separate the individual rolls yet. Instead, use the large knife to slice all the rolls in half at once.
- Next, whip up a batch of chicken strips in the oven.
- In a oven-safe casserole dish, place the bottom half of the sliced dinner rolls.
- At this stage, you can start constructing the layers of your sliders. Start by spreading a layer of marinara sauce over top of the sliced dinner rolls in your casserole dish.
- Next layer: chicken fingers. Place one half of a chicken finger on each dinner roll.
- Once you have layered in all of your chicken fingers, it’s time for a layer of cheese! The cheese can go directly on top of the chicken fingers, followed by another layer of marinara sauce and the top half of your dinner rolls.
- Finally, top the whole dish off with a mixture of butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasonings. Use a spoon or brush to coat the top dinner rolls with the butter/garlic/Italian mixture.
- Pop the whole dish into the oven for a few minutes, plate, and enjoy!
