Q: What are some things that clients should know before starting a renovation project?
A: As a client, before starting any project, you should be aware of the project cost. Insure that the budget you have in mind is enough to cover the cost of your project. Trades are also a very important item. Experienced trades will make the project run smoothly and will avoid any disappointments or delays, which will cause costs to your project.
Q: How can I estimate the length of time a project will take to complete?
A: It is impossible to know exactly how long any project will take, however, a good rule of thumb to use is to make a detailed schedule and double it.
Q: How can you be sure of what your quotation includes?
A: Project quotations should include comprehensive and detailed information of goods and services provided to the client.
