Salmon Pasta Recipe l Easy Pasta Seafood Dinner
In addition to being good for you, salmon also makes for a delicious and filling meal, and this Salmon Pasta with Lemon Wine Sauce is no exception. This pasta seafood dish is easy to prepare, and is picky-eater-approved, making it the perfect quick-dinner-fix for families.
What you’ll need: salmon fillets, “no yolks” noodles, salt, pepper, butter, flour, dill, fresh lemon juice, garlic, white wine, fennel, spinach
Step 1: Prep The Salmon
On a baking pan lined with a baking sheet, season you salmon with salt and pepper, on both sides. Then simply pop it in the oven to bake.
Step 2: Whip Up The Sauce
In a saucepan, melt butter, and sprinkle in some flour. Once your pan is nice and hot, add in some fresh dill and squeeze in half a lemon, followed by garlic. If you’re noticing your sauce is runny, add in flour as needed. Next, add a splash of white wine, and cook until it reaches a sauce-like consistency. Lastly, add in some sliced up fennel.
Step 3: Cook Your Noodles
If you’re opting for “no yolk” noodles, your pasta dish will be cholesterol-free! At this stage, you can begin to cook your noodles. You can also experiment with adding more of your favorite ingredients to the sauce at this stage, so that the dish is tailored to your unique preferences.
Step 4: Spinach For Good Measure
Add some iron into the mix via a handful of spinach. It’s important to add spinach at this stage and not any earlier, because spinach can become overcooked very easily. As soon as you see your spinach start to wilt, you can add in your noodles, and turn off your heat element.
Step 5: Serve
Serve your noodles and and salmon together, and enjoy!
