Skin Protection Sunscreen
While many of us are suckers for a balmy sun day, cumulative sun exposure can cause skin cancer. Luckily, you can prevent skin damage and skin cancer with the right products and protections! On this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show: Expert Q & A, Dr. Chanda Siddoo Atwal speaks about her products in the Moondust Cosmetics line, and her sunscreen for scientific sunburns.
Q: What is Moondust Cosmetics?
Dr. Chanda Siddoo Atwal: Moondust Cosmetics really started with my own observations on myself. I found that no sunscreen was working on me, even at varying SPF levels, and my skin kept peeling when I went in the sun. I invented a new suncare line with APF for those people who don’t tan, but burn, to help prevent scientific sunburn, which is directly linked to skin cancer.
Q: What is APF?
Dr. Chanda Siddoo Atwal: APF stands for Apoptosis Protection Factor. Apoptosis is a scientific name for sunburn, which involves cell death. Uncontrolled cell death is the first step in many cancers.
Q: Who needs Moondust skincare?
Dr. Chanda Siddoo Atwal: If you’re a person who suffers from sun sensitivity, you’ve had skin cancer, or are prone to to scientific sunburn, you need the proper kind of total UV protection system provided by our newest product, Skin Protector Plus.
