Spicy Ginger Beef Stir-Fry
Stir-fry is one of those dishes that’s easy and quick to make, delicious, and healthy to boot. Today on The Marc and Mandy Show, Chef Noel Cunningham shares a fantastic recipe for spicy Ginger Beef Stir-Fry that is perfect for any day of the week.
What you’ll need:
(for the marinade) 2 tbsp rice vinegar, 5 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp fresh ginger, 1 tsp chilli pepper flakes
(for the beef & stir-fry) 1.5 lbs top sirloin steak, 1 tbsp corn starch, 1 cup bell peppers, 2 cloves garlic, 1 cup mushrooms, 2 to 3 hot chilies, bok choy
The Recipe:
- Start off this recipe by marinating the beef. Create the marinade by adding your beef, rice vinegar, soy sauce, honey, fresh ginger, and chilli pepper into a bowl. Mix it all up and let the beef marinade for 20 to 30 minutes.
- Once the beef has marinaded sufficiently, you can add it to a hot, non-stick pan, followed by chopped hot chilies, chunks of garlic, and bell peppers for some color. Add in mushrooms next to last so they don’t overcook.
- Finally, top your stir-fry off with some bok choy. Again, add the bok choy last or next to last so it doesn’t overcook.
- Add some more soy sauce if desired, plate, and enjoy! TIP Serve this dish alone or with quinoa, rice, noodles, mashed potato, or broccoli.
