Update Your Front Entry for the Holidays
If you’ve got guests coming for a visit this holiday season, you might be feeling the stress to present your home perfectly. On this segment of The Marc and Mandy Show, Marc shares quick and easy decor tips to create a stunning first impression when holiday guests arrive. First stop: the front entryway.
Step 1: Pick A Versatile Paint Color
As with any room upgrade, if your paint job isn’t perfect, re-painting is a great task to start with. For the front entryway, you want to pick a neutral hue that will stand the test of time. In the video above, Marc shows us Incandescent by Beauti-Tone, which is light, airy, neutral, and does a great job of reflecting light.
Step 2: Create A Personal Feel
Once you’ve perfected your paint job, the next step is to infuse your entryway with a little bit of personality. A great way to do this is by putting together a gallery wall. Marc put together his gallery wall using a program called Mixtiles. To learn more about putting together a gallery wall, click here.
Step 3: Pick A Beautiful Table
Finally, to complete your front entryway, you’ll want to pick out a great table that can be used to keep your front entryway organized. Opt for a table that has a little bit of height, can stay flush to the wall, and is on the narrow side so that it won’t hinder your guests’ movements this holiday season.
Not a big fan of the picture collage right at the front entrance. A little too personal for that space. Just my opinion.
I’ve done a lot of painting over the years, and I love Beauti-Tone paint. 🙂
Looks great, but I like to keep it even more simple.
