Wardrobe Malfunction Hacks
Wardrobe malfunctions happen to the best of us – sometimes at the worst possible moments. In that spirit, Mandy shares some hacks on how to deal with three common outfit mishaps you might face.
Malfunction 1: A Faulty Zipper
Picture this: you’re late for work, running out the door, and as you’re about to leave, you notice that your fly on your jeans is down and the zipper won’t stay put. Fortunately, there is a very easy fix for this. Using a key ring or a safety pin, simply loop the ring or safety pin through the zipper pull, pull the zipper up, and fasten the ring or pin to the button of your jeans.
Malfunction 2: A Shirt Gap
No matter your cup size, shirt gaps happen. Whether it’s due to a too-big bra or a two-small shirt, Mandy’s fix is sweet and simple. All you’ll need is a sticky tab, leftover from the last time you tried to mount or hang something on your wall without using nails. Simply tuck the sticky tab to the inside of your shirt lapel, and fasten the gaping seams together.
Malfunction 3: A Shirt Snag
This problem is quite common for knit shirts or sweaters, but fortunately, all you need is a bobby pin to remedy this annoying malfunction. Simply thread your bobby pin through the pull, and weave it back into the fabric, before unhooking the pin on the inside of the shirt or sweater.
