Reno Johnston talks about the Law of Attraction and the Power of Positivitiy.
It’s important to know that, with the law of attraction, essentially, it’s like attracts like. So, what you think, what you speak, how you see the world, determines how you experience the world and what you attract into your life. Life’s sort of like this feedback system. If you believe the world is a bad place and that people are bad, then, as a result, that’s the feedback that you’re going to get from life. For example, everybody seems to use social media as a platform for life. You’ll see these people who do nothing but seems to complain and then more negative things continue to happen in their life. They always have something they’re complaining about. I have this saying, when you celebrate life, life gives you more reasons to celebrate. Being grateful for what you already have: the people in your life, the opportunities that are already in your life and being presented to you results in a lot more good coming into your orbit.
Obviously, there’s more to this then just thinking about it. When you have a goal you want to achieve, action is a really important piece. And that’s the thing; people think “Oh, if I sit and I think positive thoughts then I’m going to win the lottery.” No, it’s not like that.
First things first, you need to create a mindset. So, reading positive materials, having positive and enriching conversations and even removing the influences of negative people. There’s a lot of negativity in some of the media. Eliminating some of the negative and then creating an optimal environment is also really important. Hang out with people who are already in a position you want to be in or who already have sort of established a life and a lifestyle that you desire. Hang out with other successful people; other happy, positive people and you’ll attract that into your life. It’s really hard sometimes to eliminate certain habits or negative people from your life but it’s worth it in the end.
I just love the power of positive thinking; that you can literally change, with intention, what you’re going through. It’s all about intention, it’s about thinking, it’s about deciding, and then doing. Deciding and doing. Following through. Action is an important part. And you can’t desire one thing and expect the opposite. There is a fake-it-til-you-make-it kinda thing which is okay. We all go through that, but you get to a point where your world reflects exactly what you desire.
