Cleaning Your Washing Machine

For an item we use regularly, our laundry machines tend to get very little in terms of TLC. On this segment of The Marc and Mandy Show: Household Hacks, Judith Virag from Clean Club Calgary shows how to easily clean your washing machine.

Judith Virag: Hi Marc and Mandy! Today we’re gonna talk about how to clean your washing machine. You will need baking soda vinegar, Barkeeper’s Friend, and some microfiber cloths. First spray the inside with some vinegar, then set it to the highest setting (the warmest one), add four cups of vinegar, and run it through. Make sure you pause it for about an hour, so it has time for the vinegar to work. After that’s done, run another cycle with some baking soda. Once that’s all done, take your microfiber cloth and wipe your machine down inside outside. If the inside rubber is really dirty, use some Barkeeper’s Friend and a brush and then you can just rub it out.
