Why are organized activities important for adults?
The benefits of extracurricular activities for children and teens are plain: they give kids a welcomed distraction from academics, help them to socialize and develop their interpersonal skills, and can even help them to explore possible career opportunities early on in life. For adults, the benefits are not that different. In addition to providing an outlet for enjoyment, relaxation, and socializing, organized activities are a good way to challenge yourself in a way that doesn’t involve your everyday chores and responsibilities.
