In this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Diane Kelm from talks about the origins and benefits of their customizable welding caps.
Diane Kelm’s Story:
Diane Kelm started Hot Heads to help welders protect themselves from sparks and burns. Hot Headz hats provide comfort by providing a layer of protection between their scalp and the plastic band inside of their welding helmets. They absorb sweat because they’re made from 100 percent cotton and they’re worn backward during welding to protect the neck from sparks. Diane’s father was a welder and he couldn’t find any prints funky enough for him. As such, he had Diane make them. This eventually evolved into the business it is today.
About the hats:
Hot Headz hats are all pre-shrunk and reversible. They also come in a bunch of crazy designs and in whatever size you need. Every hat is made in Alberta. And Hot Headz aren’t just made for welders. If you’re a biker, mechanic, or if you wear a hardhat, you could benefit from Hot Headz.
About Hot Headz:
Geared at fashion-conscious welders and based out of Alberta, Hot Headz was started a couple of decades ago. Today, Hot Headz serves customers across North America.
