Q: What is Skoah?
Andrea Scott:Skoah is a facials-only concept, with a membership model and a proprietary skincare product line. All of our 15 locations do facials only and we’ve been doing that since 2003.
Q: What’s the experience like of having a facial at Skoah?
Andrea Scott: When you come in for a facial at Skoah, we do like to ask you a lot of questions at the beginning about your skin, and a lot more about your lifestyle, because we want to create a program for you that’s going to be really easy for you to follow. There’s no point in giving you a program that you would never have the time or interest in following up on. And so, we spend a lot of time at the beginning making sure that what we talk to you about is actually relevant to your lifestyle. During the facial, what a lot of people are surprised by, is that there’s a lot of massage built into the experience. So while the masks are working on your skin, we massage your scalp, your arms, your shoulders, sometimes your feet. We want you to leave feeling really, really relaxed, but also with what we call the Skoah Glowah. So when you leave here, your skin actually looks radiant and amazing. And you actually can go out, right after a facial, without any makeup at all and feel really good about yourself.
