Hardwood Trends Tips for 2020
Hardwood flooring is something that is essentially timeless. That said, it’s not immune to trends. In this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Zain Peerani of Peeranis Flooring shares what the newest trends are for hardwood flooring in 2020, including popular stains, styles, and brands to consider.
Grey Tones
Over the past couple of years, grey colored hardwood has become an increasingly popular choice for flooring. Various shades of grey are sometimes mixed with brown undertones, to lend they grey a feeling of warmth and approachability to the flooring. Alternatively, grey mixed with darker undertones lends a feeling of richness.
White-Washed
Natural tones of oak, hickory, blondes, or white stains and slightly white-washed floors are also an absolute favorite for designers and customers alike. These types of colors brighten up your living space, make it more open, modern, and maintenance-free. Some specific colors to consider in this category would be colors like chestnut, star dust, moonlight, monte carlo, misty morning, smoke oak, sunny days, golden sand, and natural hickory.
