Wrap it with wrapping paper
Since it is technically a present, wrapping up your gift card with wrapping paper seems fitting. Since gift cards are so small, you can likely use whatever wrapping paper you have leftover from the last gift-giving occasion. If you don’t have wrapping paper on hand, there’s always the newspaper cartoons.
Make a bow with a ribbon
Instead of wrapping paper or cartoons, an elegant ribbon might do the trick. Opt for a thick ribbon and make sure to tie your bow tight, so that the gift card doesn’t come loose.
Create a decorative pouch
Use card stock or cardboard to create a decorative pouch. Either decorate the pouch with ribbons, paint, wrapping paper, or glossy magazine cut-outs or leave it plain and use the empty space to write a note to your receiver.
Fold up some origami
A creative idea for presenting a gift card is in conjunction with origami. All you’ll need is a square of paper to create something unique and pretty. Then use ribbon or tape to secure your creation onto your gift card.
