Meet the Makers: Angela Victory

Angela Victory was a makeup artist and hair stylist for TV for 24 years. With a natural love of styling clients with jewelry she got involved in making special jewelry pieces as art to wear for herself. This slowly evolved into pop-up home parties and holiday events. She got amazing feedback from the community and friends so she made Amuletta official and they all took on the project as a family business. Angela’s background in beauty has helped her be able to visualize a customer’s hair, makeup and wardrobe to design the perfect piece for their event or TV appearance. 

The creative process of feeling her way through a vision and then having it manifest into real life is what inspires Angela to keep going. She loves the thought of passing on special pieces to a daughter or friend. Angela is excited to be part of the upcycled movement by reusing jewelry and mixing them with new components to create a new piece.

What is your current favorite product that you make/sell?

My favourite product I’m making are my mis-match earrings. I love the design process and seeing which person connects with what pair always brings a smile to my face.

What is one thing you can’t leave the house without?

I can’t leave the house without a pair of earrings and some groomed eyebrows. They both make such a difference framing my face. 

If you had to live in another country, what country would you choose? 

Definitely England. It’s the heart of inspiration for me. Whenever I come back from a trip there, I’m excited to get back to sketching some new Amuletta designs.
