More Storage with Gliding Shelves
In this segment of The Marc and Mandy Show: On Trend With Marc and Mandy, Lee Anne Daniels chat with Mandy about how to get more pantry storage with gliding shelves.
Mandy: When it comes to getting more space in your home, the hot spot’s always the kitchen. I have Leanne with me from Gliding shelf Solutions giving us some tips on how to maximize that space. So, thanks for being with me, Leanne.
Lee Anne Daniels: Thanks for having me, Mandy.
Mandy: So, let’s talk about where my messiest spot is in my kitchen, which is my pantry. What can be done in there?
Lee Anne Daniels: So, what we can do is we go in and we retrofit our product to fit into their pantry. It’s not necessary to do a big renovation or order a new pantry, we can outfit your pantry with pullouts. So, we come out, we take a look, we look at what you’re keeping in your pantry, and we can help you decide how many pullouts can go in it. Most pantries take five pullouts, but there’s a lot of people that want six seven or eight pullouts put into their pantrt. So, we can’t double your space in the pantry, but we can increase it significantly. And then we install the product. Our product are full extension rails, they’ll hold 100 pounds of weight and you can easily find everything in your pantry now and it’s just at your fingertips. So, no more buying doubles and triples of things; now you know what you have in your pantry and you know what you need.
Mandy: I love it. Now, the other thing that I hate in my kitchen are those ugly trash and recycle bins. What can we do with those?
Lee Anne Daniels: Okay, we have a phenomenal solution for that. What we do either under the sink or in a cabinet, we will remove the door of the cabinet, we’ll take the hinges off, we attach the door to either our seven inch or our nine inch. So, it pulls out as one piece and it’s large enough that you can fit a decent sized garbage and recycle bin in it and there’s usually space at the back. And we’ll put a divider across the back of the glide and there’s space to keep your garbage bags and things to store them as well as your garbage and recycle bin.
