What you’ll need: canola oil, garlic, garam masala, tumeric, red chilli flakes, salt, mashed potatoes, peas, flour, water, bishop’s seed
- Start with a saucepan and add oil. Once your oil is hot, add some whole chopped garlic, East India Company garam masala for some richness, a bit of turmeric for some color, and salt to taste. And if you like spicy, you can add in red chilli flakes.
- To create a great filling, combine mashed potato and peas and then add them to your saucepan and let everything saute. You can also substitute the potatoes and peas with chicken or ground beef.
- Next, you can begin to stuff your samosas with the filing using a wrapper and a bit of flour and water. You can also add in bishop seed.
- Finally, deep fry it or bake your samosas.
