Success can seem elusive, but in reality, it’s a reflection of your determination to be successful in the first place. In this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show: Backstage Pass, Comedian Ms. Pat divulges her key to success. To find out what Ms. Pat has to say, check out the video above, or keep reading to find some things you can start doing right now to be successful in life.
Write down your goals
Writing down your goals should be a daily exercise to keep yourself focused and motivated. Your goals should be specific and action-oriented. Once you’ve written down a comprehensive list of goals, circle the ones that are your priority for the day.
Bet on yourself
Think: hiring a personal trainer, buying a membership to a yoga studio, and investing in education. These kinds of things may initially present as an expense, but they are actually investments in yourself.
Avoid going on autopilot
Complacency is perhaps the biggest obstacle to success. It can feel tempting to settle in life, especially if you feel like you are surrounded by people who have also settled. In contrast, being more conscious in your day-to-day decisions will lead you to take the appropriate actions to reach your goals.
