5 Make Up Tips Every Girl Should Know
Whether you wear make-up on a daily basis or just for a night out, these 5 tips will ensure you’re always going out with a flawless finish.
1. Wash Your Brushes
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve woken up disappointed to find my brushes with leftover make up from the day before. Save yourself the trouble and clean them with warm water and dish soap after each use.
2. Use Two Blending Brushes
Trying to blend eyeshadow with a used brush can make for a messy blending job, so apply your colours with one brush and blend them in with a clean one!

3. How The Heck Do You Contour?!?!?
Calm down, grasshopper, it’s simple! Using a large brush, suck in your cheeks and apply a dusting of bronzer into the hollows of your cheeks, just under the cheekbone. For added depth, apply a light dusting of bronzer over your temples, to highlight the places the sun would naturally hit your face.

4. Highlight, Highlight, Highlight
Using a white pigment or light shimmery powder (eyeshadow works perfectly for this) use a small brush to apply product under your eyebrows and in your tear duct. This little touch opens your eyes right up and draws attention to them. Apply the same colour to the top of your cheekbones using a medium sized blush brush for an added pop.

5. Conceal, Don’t Feel
“Frozen” references aside, concealer is your best friend. Use a concealer a couple shades lighter than your skin tone or foundation and apply it in streaks (not dots!) under your eyes. Using a clean blending brush, buff it into your skin to conceal and brighten. No one needs to know you were up till 3am watching Netflix!

Simple but effective (and maybe old news for any avid make-up users out there) these little tips are the basics to a perfect make up look, and ones that I personally use every day.
