Start shopping early

Because you want to ensure the perfect fit, make sure you start shopping for your tux early. This will give you ample time to find the perfect outfit and get it tailored. You will also have time to get it re-tailored, should the first round not render a perfect fit.

Suit vs Tuxedo

The formality of your wedding should influence the type of attire you wear. If you are having a casual, afternoon ceremony or a destination wedding, a suit would be more fitting. If your wedding is an extravagant, black tie ceremony, a tuxedo may be more fitting.

Coordinate with the bride

Even if you don’t want to match completely, it’s important for your outfit to at the very least compliment the bride’s, both in formalness and in color.
