Sebastian Sevallo and Mickey Fabbiano, the stars of HGTV’s Worst to First talk about their time together both on and off the camera. Keep reading for the highlights of Mariko’s interview with these two celebrity contractors.
 
Mariko Zamani: Does your relationship differ on and off camera?
Sebastian Sevallo: I think our relationship is definitely more highlighted on camera. I mean, it can be a little more stressful at times. In day-to-day life, I don’t think it’s as stressful as it sometimes appears to be on camera, but we do have a lot of fun together.
 
Mariko: How did you two get your start on TV?
Mickey Fabbiano: Yeah. I mean, TV kind of started us. No, that doesn’t make sense. Do you want to take this one?
Sebastian: Yeah, I totally do. Mickey and I were both working as contractors in Vancouver. We were brought together, basically, by our two families. My brother married his sister. 
Mickey: My sister married his brother.
Sebastian: And basically, we heard that HGTV was looking for contractors in the Vancouver area. So, they ended up discovering us in a sense. And the rest is kind of history. 
Mickey: That’s what I said, they discovered us!
Sebastian: See, the reason Mickey and I get along so well is because he can never be wrong. So, he will go to the end of the earth to prove that he’s right!
Mickey: I agree. You articulated it better than I.
 
Mariko: If you could say something to your 20-year-old self, what would that be?
Mickey: 20-years-old. Would your 20-year-old self listen to you, that’s the question. When I was older, everyone older would tell me, especially because I’m super active, ‘You got to take care of your body.’ I would probably tell him, ‘Hey, take it easy, slow down.’
Sebastian: That’s good, I like that. I think I would have told my 20-year-old self, ‘Don’t worry, everything’s going to be just fine.’
