Child Educational Programs
On this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Krishna Kumar and his team from UCMAS Richmond tells viewers about the benefits of the UCMAS programs for children.
First of all, what is UCMAS?
The first UCMAS centre opened its doors in 1993 in Malaysia to provide children ages 5 to 13 with quality Abacus and Mental Math Training. Since that time, UCMAS started its operations in North America in 2004 and currently has 70 locations, 30,000 students registered, and 600 trained course instructors.
What is iMaths?

Understanding math is important for many career trajectories, as well as developing basic cognitive and logical skills. To learn more about the iMaths programming, click here.

Many families would be happy to hear about these great programs for their children.
I am all for STEM programs, but I do have concerns about the science and math heavy loads without the balance of some softer skills… Have you ever heard of STEAM and how it takes everything in STEM and adds ART to it? I like that better, I find it to be a better balance.
