Math

This site gives a list of the skills that each grade teaches. The skills are organized into categories, and you then select a link and start practicing. IXL will track your score, and the questions will automatically increase in difficulty as you improve. If you get an answer wrong it will tell you the correct answer, as well explain to you how they got there.
Reading

Starfall has a 4 step program to teach your child step-by-step how to read or you can start at your child’s skill level.
Step 1 teaches the ABC’s and letter sound relationships, that focuses on every letter of the alphabet.
Step 2 teaches how to combine letters sounds to make small simple words.
Step 3 teaches sentences with create-your-own stories, books that help you pronounce words when you click it, riddles and much more.
Step 4 offers books to help your child read.

While researching the site for examples of games they have and a description of what they offer, I played for half an hour and didn’t realize it. I found old school games, such as “Tetris”, and “Sliding Puzzle”, as well as some new; “Letter Fall”, and “Are You in the Know?”. Definitely recommending this site!
