Okay, so if your fitness level is very … low .. and you are starting out with walking, how would you incorporate interval training into that?
Great question! The easiest way to incorporate interval training in a walking routine is to vary your speed. For example: if you currently walk for 30 minutes at a moderate speed, try this: 30 seconds at a fast pace followed by 2 minutes and 30 seconds at your regular pace and repeat through-out your walk. Continue to increase your speed and length of your fast intervals as your fitness improves.
