Keeping Fitness Goals
If you’re notorious for making New Year’s Resolutions and not sticking to them, you’ve come to the right place! On this episode of The Marc and Mandy Show, Ingrid Jamault of LEAP Lifestyle & Wellness shares five steps that will help you to keep your New Year’s Resolution fitness goals.
Step 1: Journal
Get yourself a nice journal or even just a nice notebook. Then use it to write down your short term goals, long term goals, and all the steps that it will take to help you to achieve those goals.
Step 2: Water
Make your water bottle your best buddy. Aim to gradually increase and drink half of your body weight in ounces.
Step 3: Eat more
You heard that right, eat more. But add in fruits, vegetables, and nutrient-dense food and watch the magic happen.
Step 4: Move your body
Be active every day (or at least most days). Stay active by trying new things that are fun.
Step 5: Accountability and community
Grab a friend, hire a trainer, join a gym, and/or get a fitness tracker or app on your phone.
