How To Make Your Own Homemade Bath Paint
To make bath time fun for my kids I often buy them bath paint. I’ve never attempted to make my own until today. There are a few different ways to make homemade bath paint but I chose this version because it used simple ingredients that I had on hand.

SUPPLIES
- 1/4 cup of hand soap (you can use shampoo or any liquid soap)
- 1/4 cup of corn starch
- 1-2 tbsp of water
- Food colouring
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix the soap and corn starch. Slowly add water until it reaches a paint-like texture. You can add more corn starch if it’s too runny or water if it’s too thick. Divide the mixture into containers and add food colouring.

TIPS
- I recommend mixing it to a thicker consistency. You can always add a few drops of bathwater if necessary. I mixed it to the consistency of paint and it became runny very fast.
- I also recommend using it as a finger paint instead of using a brush. The brush added too much water to the paint
- Another way to make bath paint is to add food colouring to shaving foam.
