Picking Out Shoes for Your Child
Fitting your kids’ shoes can be a challenge. If you’re not having much luck getting them to sit still and stop curling their toes at Payless, learn to hack their tiny feet with these three simple tips and tricks from Tiffany and Isaac at Bigley Shoes and Clothing:
- Use a piece of paper.
Avoid dragging fussy kids to the mall. You can simply traceg their feet on a piece of paper. Do this in the evening, after they’ve played all day and expelled some of that notorious energy.
- Consider their socks.
When trying on shoes for comfort and fit, there are certain socks you’ll want to avoid. Socks with grips or bumps on them, for instance, can make the shoe fit too tight and Prince Charming’s job at Cinderella’s Ball more difficult than it needs to be.
- And don’t forget to accommodate the width of your child’s foot.
You should be able to tell this by the ease (or unease) of how their foot slides into the shoe
