Dr. Shahdad Ayoughi

Dr. Shahdad Ayoughi has a love and passion for dentistry that truly shines through in his practice where he aims to create an exceptional experience so that every patient can smile more. Accredited as one of the world’s top 100 dentists, a 5 star implantologist and one of Vancouver’s top three dentists for over 5 years, it is a surprise that he was originally on a path to become an electronic engineer. After graduating in 1990 from the University of Toronto, Dr. Ayoughi decided to move back and start his private practice in Vancouver in 2003. Inspired by people, cultures and new technologies such as digital dentistry, Dr. Ayoughi ran a training course and study club for dentists on Implant Dentistry. He currently provides professional instruction and mentorship in both implant surgery and prosthodontics internationally in
addition to his several private practices.

Canadian Home Trends: If you could have lunch with any one person in the world, who would you pick and why?

Dr. Shahdad Ayoughi: Steve Jobs, because he changed the world in many different ways. Communication and the expression of emotions as well as many more. He was a perfectionist, he never stopped learning and creating and yet he stayed humble.
